Certance's award-winning Certance 40 DDS-4 external tape drive is the ideal backup product for high-performance workstations or low-end to midrange server environments. Based on the industry-standard DDS (DAT) format, it features up to 40-Gbytes compressed capacity per cartridge and backup speeds of up to 330 Mbytes per minute.

Features:

  • Supports up to 40 Gbytes of storage capacity (based on 2:1 compression) per DDS-4 cartridge
  • Unique environmentally-sealed chamber for the head-to-tape interface (HTI) increases reliability by reducing airborne contaminants
  • Sapphire Media Cleaning Blade reduces damage to media caused by contaminants
  • LVD (low voltage differential) Interface supports 15 devices up to a total cable length of 20 meters
  • 330 Mbyte/min transfer rate provides fast data backup and restore
