Overland’s win in the NAS product category recognizes the company’s
industry-leading status as an innovator - bringing to market solutions designed
to simplify storage for the enterprise.
“This award reflects a very successful
year with record sales of the SnapServer N2000, said Andy Walsky, Vice President
of EMEA Sales. The
N2000 brings simple, enterprise class storage capabilities to
businesses with growing storage and limited resources. As these businesses face
increasingly complex storage requirements, they are embracing the exceptional
performance, reliability, value and flexibility that this solution provides.
Built on the award-winning GuardianOS
SnapServer N2000 is one of the simplest NAS solutions to deploy
and manage. Its unified storage architecture allows organizations to
simultaneously store, protect and access both block and file data across
Windows, UNIX/Linux, and Mac OS platforms, as well as virtual servers,
databases, email, and backup applications.
The product also has the ability to mix
SAS drives and SATA drives within the same system, enabling users to customise
the performance and capacity of every volume created. Scalable up to 144
Terabytes in a compact 2U form factor, it allows companies to easily scale
volume capacities instantaneously – without downtime or degraded performance.
For data protection, the N2000 has the
ability to replicate to one or multiple SnapServers, take snapshots for
point-in-time recovery, and perform backups to disk, VTL, or tape.
