REO 9000 Features Include:
High Capacity—the REO 9000 uses 400 GB SATA drives and
scales up to 9.6 TB per unit to address high capacity backup applicaitons.
High speed performance—dual RAID controllers and dual
high-speed connections to storage networks enable the REO 9000 to recover
business-critical data at disk-speeds while helping to complete backups inside
the backup window.
Flexible connectivity—utilizing dual GbE data ports with
the option of adding dual 2 Gb Fibre Channel ports, the REO 9000 seamlessly
integrates into existing storage networks.
Increased data availability—with hot-swap disk drives and
power supplies, RAID 5 data protection and hot-sparing, the REO 9000 reliably
supplies a high level of data availability.
Broad platform support—including Solaris, Microsoft®
Windows®, and Linux, coupled with support for major third-party software
applications, allows the REO 9000 to operate across a broad base of storage
environments.
ProtectionPAC Software:
Flexible virtual device support—provides the ability for
each virtual device to be configured as a disk LUN or virtual tape drive, up to
64 total devices, enabling storage managers to implement a solution that most
closely matches their current and future data protection requirements.
Dynamic Virtual Tape—provides the ability to dynamically
size virtual tape drives to the size of individual backup jobs, providing higher
usable capacity versus fixed length virtual tape devices.
Browser based management—provides proactive monitoring
capability, event notification and remote management capability. The REO 9000
allows you to easily manage your backup and recovery process from a location
thats convenient for you.
