Overland Storage Supports Massive Data Storage Needs of

Overland Storage today announced that Historic Map
Works, a company that is creating the most comprehensive online destination
for maps and other geographic data, has deployed Overland Storage SnapServer
650 and 520 (now the
SnapServer 620) solutions to back up and protect
over 1.2 million individual images of maps and geographical data. They
SnapServer S50 JBOD expansion units,
which allowed them to easily achieve the capacity required. Each S50
JBOD takes up 12 x
2TB Hard drives.
