XSR122 Features:
- 2U, 12 drive bays
- Max capacity 768TB
- For SMB and large enterprises with significant data growth
- Preloaded with GuardianOS (GOS) 8
- DynamicRAID lets you mix and match drives easily. Grow and shrink your volumes on demand with thin provisioning
- Snap ECR (Encrypted Continuous Replication) provides file level differential replication between multiple SnapServers using 4096-bit RSA asymmetric key encryption
- Snap EDR provides replication between heterogeneous operating systems such as GuardianOS, Windows, Linux, and UNIX
- Seamlessly integrates into your existing Windows Active Directory domains to authenticate Windows or macOS users or systems
- GuardianOS web interface provides easy management through step-by-step configuration
- Encryption at rest protects volumes and data in the event of physical theft
Expandable Storage
The SnapServers family of products allows for seamless expansion of volumes with DynamicRAID and thin provisioning. Drives of different capacities can be mixed and matched with no space wastage. Volumes can be created within seconds with a few mouse clicks without downtime or business disruption. Acquisition costs are reduced and growth is carefully managed through “just-in-time” storage. Expandable storage models deliver higher value for price and total cost of ownership.
Repliction
SnapServer is a cost-effective, secure solution providing disaster recovery and business continuity with data replication:
- Snap ECR (Encrypted Continuous Replication) offers ongoing wire-speed file replication of user volumes between any number of SnapServers using strong, military-grade 4096-bit RSA asymmetric encryption. Following initial replication of a volume, files are queued for immediate replication when changed, and only file differences are replicated over the wire. Compression and throttle schedules provide tunable network bandwidth consumption, and NTFS and UNIX file and directory permissions are preserved between servers.
- Snap EDR (Enterprise Data Replication) offers 1:1 (Synchronize), N:1 (Aggregate), and 1:N (Distribute) scheduled replication and backup jobs for specified directory paths between SnapServers and various client operating systems including Windows and Linux/UNIX. Snap EDR is easy to setup and configure using a single management console. Jobs can be scheduled to run on demand, configured for encryption and compression while preserving directory permissions between disparate security models.
