Q: What is the “NEO S Add-On Drive” promotion?
A: For each NEO S add-on drive purchased by an end user,
Overland will offer a promotional price which represents a significant discount
(as much as 38%) off of standard pricing. Discounts vary by configuration.
Q: For what dates is the promotional
offer valid?
A: The promotion is
effective from May 24, 2010 until June 20, 2010. All orders must be placed with
resellers no later than June 20th. Reseller/distributor orders must be placed
with Overland no later than June 21st, for shipment no later than June 27th.
Q: What is the purpose of the NEO S
Add-On Drive promotion?
A: The
purpose of the promotional pricing is to help Overland partners compete and win
multi-drive library opportunities against Dell and other competitive products.
The intent is for our partners to generate additional sales and improve their
margin opportunities.
Q: Which configurations of NEO S add-on drives are included
in the promotion?
A: This
promotion is offered on the following part numbers:

Q: How does the end user request their
NEO S LTO add-on drive discount?
A: When an end user places an order for a NEO S add-on drive, they must include
the meetcomp #217014 (EMEA meetcomp = MC217013) on their PO. The
reseller/distributor purchase order placed with Overland must include the
meetcomp number, the applicable NEO S libraries part number and the applicable
NEO S add-on drive part numbers (see above).
Q: Can Overland distributors/resellers
place separate orders for a NEO S library and the NEO S add-on drives?
A: No. Each order must include the NEO S library(s) and the
appropriate number of add-on drives to accompany each library.
Q: Is there a limit to how many NEO S add-on drives can
be purchased under this promotion?
A: The only limit to how many add-on drives can be
purchased under this promotion is the number of drives the NEO S library ordered
on the same PO will accommodate. In other words, if you place an order for a
single NEO 400S, the maximum number of add-on drives that can be purchased under
this promotion is three (3). If you order 5 NEO 400S libraries, the maximum
number of add-on drives that can be purchased at the promotion price is 15.
