Series Virtual Tape Libraries (VTL) enables you to leverage the
performance and reliability of disk to drastically increase the speed
and efficiency of your backups and restores. Lightning-quick speed
is just the beginning. Built on Overland’s Protection OS™, REO VTL also
delivers a core set of volume and device virtualization, management, and
connectivity features that give you increased flexibility and ease of
use. You can seamlessly integrate your REO into your existing backup
infrastructure by emulating the tape libraries and drive formats you
already use. You can quickly and efficiently create tapes for
compliance, disaster recovery or archive, restore from disk even when
physical tapes are not present, and easily manage your REO from anywhere
in the world. Disk is a powerful tool for backup and recovery – harness
it with REO Series VTL. |
