Scaling NEOxl 40 Tape Library

• Expansion modules can be added above or below the base unit
• The lowest 8 slots of the library (whether it’s base or expansion) are inaccessible
  • Expansion module installed beneath the base has 32 accessible slots
• The expansion module std. configuration is for slots only
  • If a customer wants to add drives, requires a power supply CRU
  • If a customer wants to add drives AND have redundant power, requires 2 power supply CRUs
• Base, expansion and CRUs/FRUs (ie power supply, magazines, etc.) are unique to NEOxl 40
  • Exception is add-on drives; these are common between NEOxl 40, NEOxl 80 and NEOxl 8000
